Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Lois all over the map depending on who's writing her. But in general, post-crisis Lois is pretty kickass. S:TAS also draws upon the original Fleischer Superman cartoons, where she acts that way, too. (But given the time period, she often comes across as foolhardy rather than awesome).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, in one sense, it's really stupid, but I do admire her pluck. Even when she has this superpowered guy ready to punch someone's lights out, she's wielding a crowbar anyway.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, it's great in the original Fleischer cartoons when she picks up a tommygun and starts blazing away at a pack of bad guys. And she's quite reckless/fearless - crawling into the container area of flying robots and whatnot to get the story.

Is the Flash really a hyperactive jerk? "Speed Demons" was my first non-SV exposure to him. I didn't realize he was more of a lighthearted, funny character. Guess that's why he fights a talking gorilla.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I'm hardly an expert on the Flash, but my understanding is the Flash of the DCAU is more care-free than his comicbook counterpart because he doesn't have the Flash Legacy to live up to. In the DCAU, Wally is the first Flash, whereas in the comics he tries to honor the name established by those before him.

That said, I like the Flash in Justice League (the series) a lot better than the one in Speed Demons. Though the characterization isn't that much different (though JL!Flash has the advantage of being voiced by Michael Rosenbaum.)

I actually saw Superman: TAS after I'd been watching Justice League for awhile, so when I got to "Speed Demons" it was a bit of a disconnect to hear a different voice. (Of course, Supes has a different voice in JL than in his own series, but they're close enough that it's not too jarring.)

I don't like Superman's voice. I hope the one in JL is better.

My friend says this Flash is Bart and the JL Flash is Wally. Is that right?

Bart or Barry? Bart aka Impulse came after Wally. Barry was the Flash before Wally in the comics. I have no idea which Flash the one in Superman was supposed to be, but I do recall reading an interview with the JL creators saying they intentionally divorced Wally from the Flash legacy for Justice League.

I thought Bart was Impulse, yeah. She must have meant Barry.
