So, new Buffy: I wasn't as thrilled with the issue as I was hoping, with JE writing it. It wasn't bad, but all the
good guys managing to find them at once
seemed a little too convenient.
Also, plot problem:
Warren and Andrew
talk about
Warren convincing Andrew to kill Jonothan.
But that wasn't
Warren
who did that, it was
The First Evil.
Something else just occured to me. How was the First able to appear as Warren in Season 7 if he wasn't actually dead?
Did
The First Evil appear as Buffy back in "Amends" before she'd taken the lengthier of her dirt naps? Because I can easily see Warren flatlining due to the flaying in "Villains" before Amy got to him
.
Didn't Willow
also send Warren up in a ball of flames after the flaying?
Yes. But
it's been retconned as Amy snatching him away so she could get oh-so-desirable Skinless Warren as her boyfriend and get revenge on Willow for not sticking on the magic crack train with her to the end. So, apparently, while Willow was supercharged and intent on punishing Warren for Tara's death, that little detail escaped her.

In a recent Q & A, Scott Allie said that the trade paperback version will be edited to explain everything properly. (The previous trades have also had quite a few edits, but nothing major.) I'm betting the new dialogue still won't make total continuity sense, and I'd prefer to fanwank than watch him constantly fiddle with the stories George Lucas-style.
Can somebody obtain a copy of Marvel Illustrated's Pride & Prejudice #1 for me?
I
just
got back from my comic book store. #1 came out a few months ago, didn't it? I don't know if they still have it. I will check.
Thanks, P-C! I appreciate it.
Has anyone picked up Wednesday Comics? I'm hearing nothing but raves about it.
