The original Golden Age Blue Beetle lasted 59 issues (not helping).
Huh. I got my (mis)information from the DC Comics' board. I don't know whether to take the time to register just so I can tell them they were wrong, or let them enjoy their delusion.

OMG! See, this is why people who aren't regular comics readers are giving up on the series. This is some disorganized bullshit.

Did you read Fray? This is nothing compared to that.
When I picked up my last box of pulls, which was half a year's worth at least (I have officially moved to trades), we made many jokes at the expense of certain Bendis titles that appeared to have gone back to an erratic release cycle. Though still not as bad as Planetary was.

I think I started reading it issue by issue but gave up and just read it when it was finally collected.

I don't know, I think it works in a publisher-oriented industry. There are DC comics and Marvel comics and Image comics and so on.

Was? I thought the last issue was still pending, or did it finally come out?
