Wow. All three?
The Batsverse is shrinking!
(Or will they be adding new, different Batsverse titles?)
Discussion of comics, graphic novels, and more. Except for capes. No capes!
Please use spoiler font for new releases until after the weekend following release.

Man. That was the core of my batfandom, back in the day.
Holy crap!
They will probably re-start post-Batman RIP...
Wow. That cuts my pull list in half.
There's weird shit going on with Batman (the character), and I think Nightwing is taking over for him for at least a while (I'm fairly spoiler-free, so if anyone knows or goes looking for info, please don't spoil me). If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised that the NW title is being cancelled.
As for Robin, well, the writing got MUCH better when Willingham t spits, curses left the title, but the plots/arc are totally disjointed and non-sense-making. As much as I love Robin (the character) the book has been sucking.
BoP is also really disjointed and non-sense-making.
I just fervently hope that this means Blue Beetle is safe from cancellation for now. (Pleasepleaseplease....)

I was wondering that. But I'd rather not have them back if they keep on with the non-sense-making.
Umm...
Blue Beetle's sales numbers are not very healthy, Steph. It's not in the top 100 sellers, and sells far less than the Bat family books that were just cancelled...
Looking at some numbers, BB has been selling in the 12-14k range per issue for the 6 months, with a slow slide. Not good...
I'm well aware of Blue Beetle's sales numbers. Hell, it's lucky to have made it past 2 years.
I'm just living in my own fantasy world where quality and critical acclaim mean more than profit.
Oh, neat! How is the seventh season of Firefly ?

You're asking the wrong person, my friend. I'm the heretic who didn't think much of the *real* episodes.
S9 of Farscape rocks, though.
I just finished Ocean, by Warren Ellis. Has anyone read it? It's pretty neat. It reminds me a little of Sunshine in that it's intelligent science fiction that ends up turning into an action movie.
