Any good?
I've actually been enjoying it a lot more than Angel: After the Fall, which I've find mostly disappointing so far. Although the villain seems to be little more than a Glory clone , Spike's been pretty entertaining. Maybe because it's only four issues, Brian Lynch decided to tell an actual story rather than a collection of fan-oriented inside-jokes.
Variant cover for Buffy #20
Okay, that's definitely the one I want! My comic-book guy has been pulling the "art" covers for me, and I tend to like them, but the "comic" one for #20 is PERFECT!

Are they
going back to stories about High School?
I is interested but confuzzled.
it looks like the art from the Buffy cartoon.
Some basic info about the issue with the art
Acclaimed comic-book writer Jeph Loeb (Batman: The Long Halloween) was set to executive produce, alongside Joss Whedon and animator Eric Wight, the proposed Buffy animated TV series. While Buffy fans won't be viewing that show anytime soon, Loeb, Wight, and Whedon offer the next best thing a comic inspired by the animated series! Jeph Loeband Eric Wight take the reins on Buffy Season Eight with this very special one-shot joining series artist Georges Jeanty, in a twisted tale picking up from the time-traveling Buffy/Fray crossover.
Dropped in on my Comic Dude last night. Shop was technically closed but they host a Magic the Gathering game night so it was packed. I went in to get my very late pulls and ended up buying a load of impulse buys.
Turns out my Comic Dude is OBSESSED with Dr. Horrible. Even though he is adamantly a non-Buffy/Angel/Firefly fan.
Am loving the 3 part Hellboy series The Crooked Man. I love Mignola.
So, I'm not sure if anyone in the thread knew or cares, but HBO is not picking up the tv show "Preacher" based on the graphic novel.

Ah, I was wondering if there was any official news about that. Alas. Or maybe good, since Mark Steven Johnson is not who I'd really want at the helm.
