I've been enjoying it . . . but I may not be a good judge.
I've read the first Dresden comic and thoroughly enjoyed it. But my FLCS has been having trouble getting ahold of them. They only managed to get ahold of issue one for me two weeks ago and still haven't managed to get me a copy of issue two.
The character design for Murphy bugs me a bit (she looks far too tall and the face and hair don't seem right) but that's my only nitpick so far. Of course, it helps that Jim Butcher is writing the first four.
I just started the first. I agree with what you are saying about Murphy, she just doesn't seem right.
From Jo Chen's website - (if you scroll down you'll see the spoilery cover of Buffy #16) - but is what is in her most recent post really the cover of #20?
That's adorable! I can't imagine what the story is that goes with it, but then, the cover doesn't always reflect the interior. (Although, now that I think of it, the Buffy comic is pretty good about that, unlike goddamn DC, who knows good and well that Batman would *never* gasp "No! It can't be....YOU!!" even to a resurrected Jason Todd.)
That (Batman) cover had to have just confirmed 5 million fanfics.
Jo Chen is fricking awesome. I love her covers. And I can't guess anything from #20.
Awww, that reminds me of the trio watching Bollywood movies and braiding Willow's hair.
I've enjoyed the Jo Chen covers, especially the Willow cover on #3. However, I really dislike the cover to #1 because the anatomy is awful. See if you can track it down and then take a long hard look at her mismatched arms.
