So, the latest Angel. Here's what I really enjoyed: Connor, KATE!!!! -- I *so* would not have expected to *enjoy* her being back, but I did -- and the fact that there was that short, cute letter from Mark Lutz. Groo!
Here's what I enjoyed in spite of myself: poor goddamn Wesley. He's almost like Snape, with the whole doomed love shit.
I'm liking how this is going.

I should have known that as soon as Xander and Renee had their first kiss, she'd be a goner.
And I loved Dracula! "Anyone going to finish eating this?" Heee.
So is the cover to Angel #11 going to be a flashback, do you think? Since Angel isn't a vamp in the present-day of the storyline? Or maybe he gets re-vamped? (That bit of wordplay never fails to make me laugh.)
Or maybe the cover doesn't represent what actually happens in the issue. I think we'll just have to wait and see.
Speculation is way more fun than silent waiting, though. Especially on a Monday.

Isn't it the spin-off from the current Angel? And not actually out yet?
(If #2 is coming out in August - I'm guessing that #1 won't be out 'til June/July.)
