Last year I got burned out/annoyed with the whole buildup to Final Crisis and withdrew to reading things that were crossover lite for the time being.
Yeah, I hear you, though "Salvation Run" is actually self-contained. It could be better, but on the whole, it's a fun-enough read.
But the image of Gorilla Grodd smacking around Monsieur Mallah's with THe Brain briancase is pretty precious...
