Last year I got burned out/annoyed with the whole buildup to Final Crisis and withdrew to reading things that were crossover lite for the time being.
Yeah, I hear you, though "Salvation Run" is actually self-contained. It could be better, but on the whole, it's a fun-enough read.
But the image of Gorilla Grodd smacking around Monsieur Mallah's with THe Brain briancase is pretty precious...
It's something to behold, let me tell ya.
Oh, DX, that's grimly perfect.
I see they're continuing the tradition of really bad covers.
Speaking of bad covers, I got Serenity: Better Days today but haven't had time to read it.
Anyone read
Therefore Repent?
GF and I liked it a lot. About those left behind after the rapture.
We're all keeping our eyes open, right?
From the I can't believe it's not a joke file: "the U.S. intelligence community is working to develop software that will detect violent extremists infiltrating World of Warcraft and other massive multiplayer games, according to a data-mining report from the Director of National Intelligence." >[link]
I'm going to pick up my Serenity comic today.
Or - that's what I've planned.
Oh! Me, too. And it's right on the way on my little errand run. Excellent.
Meta on Satsu - includes a nice discussion of her name and it's meaning depending on which kanji is used to write it. Choices?
1. assistance, help (Sa), harbor, port (tsu)
or
2. slay, kill
Nice.
I'm going to pick up my Serenity comic today.
Ooh, thanks for the reminder.
