Jayne: Here's a little concept I been workin' on. Why don't we shoot her first? Wash: It is her turn.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I think Ann Nocenti did some very good Daredevil and Elektra runs back in the late 80s early 90s, post Miller.

Yeah, I remember her on Daredevil. I mention because she's in the online writer's group I'm participating in.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Really? That's awesome.

Hrm, she seemed to disappear from the comics in the mid to late 90s. She may have done some one shots or LSs here and there, but she hasn't been seen much.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, she's not writing comics anymore.

She edited High Times for a while. She's done other writing/editing gigs.

But why? How can anyone not write comics when given the opportunity? :)

Especially a woman. There must be all kinds of fantastic opportunities for women in the comics industry, right?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Refrigerators for all the heroes' girlfriends, and fan backlash is hamstrung!

ION: I'm reading about Amazing Spider-Man #545, and Holy Shit, that is one ugly retcon. Apparently, the issue was written by Joe Quesada, because JMS wouldn't sign off on it.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

that is one ugly retcon

What is it, Tom?
