{{juliana}} Life all too often sucks.
I think 2006 qualifies as my first year as an "adult." Unfortunately, it feels a bit like I'm in a holding pattern. The good: decent job that pays well, second job that only mildly hinders my social life, nice apartment, new friends in a new city, tiny improvements in family life, and spending more time getting to know the Buffistas.
The bad: Still feeling unhappy for very little good reason. Failing at convincing myself that I'm perfectly ok and have no issues whatsoever, what on earth could you be talking about? Not working on getting back into the field I'd like to work in. Feeling like I'm wasting my life.
Resolutions for 2007: Floss every day. Work on improving my diet to make the working out work better. Come and meet the Buffistas. Get my ass back into the arts, by hook or by crook. Try to stay in better touch with friends that I don't see often. Build writing into my life. And break free of feeling alone and learn to love my life and myself, because I'm pretty damn awesome.
