That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2006: You're ON THE LIST!!!

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2006? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm kind of amazed anyone was willing to talk to me at all.

It was surprising to meet you in person because you were so different from the online you at that time.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ha. It's funny because so much time has passed. Of course, it's changed in bad ways, too. I used to constantly check merriam webster to make sure I was spelling and using my words appropriately; I was frightened of the Great Collective Buffista Editor. But these days I'm so lazy I don't bother trying to impress with my vocabulary! Hee.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I tried reading some of my early posts (delurked sometime in mid 2000, I think) a little while ago, and wow, did I sound pretentious. Very surprised people didnt just roll their eyes and ignore me.

Ack. Im on a European keyboard and cant find the apostrophe.

Anyway, my secret santa present is going to be a bit late, what with the being in Europe. But it shall get there.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Did someone just say something? I'll just roll my eyes and pretend there are apostrophes.

My santee's is late too. I am not in Europe. It is purchased and lovely however.

I'm horrified that my gift will be so late...given that part of it is Xmas themed, dangit. But is should arrive tomorrow, Monday at the latest. Last time I trust holiday shipping promises! I'm going to shoot for the Black Friday post next time.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I think I sound pretty much the same. I dunno if that's a good thing or bad thing.

I started on TT in...2001? Yeah, I think. I had a job and steady at-home net access, so I spent a LOT of time at TT and WX back in the day. But I really like my job now, so I' m not resentful about less b.org time in the day. Xmas vaca's ARE nice for catching up, tho!

I AM resentful that I still have no TV show I loved as much as Buffy.

hip deep in pie

I don't even have the Europe excuse. I'm just late with my gift. It was the Slacker Santa exchange, however, what else should you expect.

Hey, Christmas is twelve days.

We have until January 6th before we're late!
