SA and bon and Herself and Fay are all people I associate with WX delurking. I remember bon revealing a picture of her face one bit at a time. I remember the first picture Ple posted was a high school picture of herself.
Fay and I were talking about this this morning, actually, how we'd both come about 'round the WX days. Ah, icons. She said she remembered mine, from some high school picture, all fadey around the edges; which is better than I can do because I can't remember any. Herself was my gateway in--we were talking about fic and she sent me a link to the board and thus I appeared.

Megan- I am so sorry about Jimmy! I always loved hearing you talk about him and seeing pictures on lj.
I am also leaping to post that I have slacked the first time I did regular Secret Santa- and my gift for my Santee will be coming next week rather than, you know, tomorrow. I just barely got my family done in time!

Thanks Sophia. Our house seems so empty without our Jimmy the Cat.
I do think of amych and Plei as almost part of a "class" year of people who delurked around the same time. Fay and Herself did as well, but I had forgotten since I see them less frequently. I had lurked at TT (and posted once, even) and then lurked at WX too, so that's how I found the place.

So I was very good, and waiting until this morning to open my Secret Santa present...
(Okay, that's not quite true. There were a WHOLE BUNCH of presents inside a nice fuzzy stocking, so I let myself open one on Saturday, and one last night, but it's mostly true.)
but now I can report that my Secret Santa Suzi is MADE OF CHRISTMAS AWESOME. I got sushi bandaids (and I was just about to have to order more), sushi coasters, the Food and Wine Cocktail 2006 book, a neat set of stationary, a gorgeous beaded ornament (that Perkins the Cat is not allowed to eat, much to his dismay), and mini bottles of vodka, whiskey and Fernet (and how impressed am I that you managed to find a mini bottle of Fernet?)
