Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

It's not coming over the radio speakers, is it?

Nope.

It's not related to the heater fan, is it?

I don't think so. It persists when everything is turned off -- audio system, heater, etc.

Does the radio turn off when you honk the horn?

...no.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does it happen when you turn the key to the Accessory position?

Yes.

Googling (and you) seems to suggest that alternator whine should increase when the engine's running at higher speed. I may need to sit in my garage and test it a little.

The other thing googling suggests is that alternator whine can bleed into the sound system, but since the whine isn't actually coming from the speakers, I'm hoping I can eliminate that.

What is even happening?

Please don't run your car in your garage. I don't even have independent confirmation of your singing, yet.

Our wings are not tired.

I've heard Dana sing. It is a lovely memory. Um, yeah, no running the car in the garage.

It's fine if you have the garage door open wide.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I have to figure out how to celebrate today. So far I've got "wait to clean the bathroom until tomorrow" and "watch Friday Night Lights."

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I can't look at any more of the pictures of the bees

Wrod. I was hoping the guy would set himself on fire--or have that trailer hitch fall on his head.

I was sure it would end with "....and the house burned to the ground in 30 minutes flat."

Also, am I the only one who went to an Eddie Izzard place? "I'm covered in BEEEEEEES!"

And, because it deserves its own, bee-free post:

Happy Birthday Shrift!!!!

AND

WOOT!!! To Kat and Lori!!!!
