Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's been sitting on the counter for about an hour now -- which I feel sure is too short a time to develop botulism -- so I suppose pan-frying (which would have been its fate anyway) is the next step....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My mom has been warned what kind of containers my porn is in, and can pitch it without looking in the event of my untimely death. If it's anyone else cleaning up my place, I don't care what they see. (Hell, my landlord's welcome to it if any of it suits his taste.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's a secret family story about a relative of mine going to clean up the house of a family friend after he died, because his mother didn't know he was a crossdresser. Or gay. She did know he was blind. That's right, a gay, blind, crossdresser.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

blind, crossdresser.

That must have made clothes shopping interesting.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I've been catching up from last night, and damn, Gus. Just. Damn. He will be sorely missed. Thanks to those who found some great Gus quotage and posted it.

That's what I said! Although, it's true that women's clothes often feel nicer (or at least more interesting with texture and etc.) than men's, so maybe that was part of it.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I don't understand the bacon obsession.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister
