I slept 2 nights in his room on an air mattress, then moved back into my room, that failed. Then we did two nights with him in my bed and then I moved back into his on an air mattress. Since my parents got here on 12/25, they have been in my bed.

The plan moving forward is that when my dad leaves on 1/4, my mom will move to the air mattress in the living room (albeit further away from mac's room than I am now) and I will move back to my bed.

School starts tomorrow, so we don't want to be doing too many things at once.

I've spent the last hour listening to The Who and googling Skeletor. How come I never knew about this?

Watching the Rose Parade and fighting off a migraine. We are going to a friend's house to play board games today and I want to be fit.

There will be no pig consumed by me. I may prepare some for the family.

Still haven't had any Blue Mountain coffee, unless I drank it in Jamaica, which possible. Must put picking some up and consuming on the 2007 list.

msbelle, by all means make a sleeping plan, but also plan to make a new plan, and a new plan, and yes another plan. School should be wonderful for mac in many ways. The structure and schedule as well as the socialization. And you'll get handmade treasures to mount on the fridge!

Nothing too fantabulous, just the fact that I'm here at work doing support on a holiday when no one thought to turn on the phones and the rest of the world is taking it easy. I'm on Just In Case mode and writing away.

msbelle, good luck with the sleep plan. It's probably tough on him--especially if he was used to sleeping with other people (or kids) in the same room. I'm not sure what sort of living situation he was in but I suspect there may have been other children in there with him. Switching to solo sleeping can be rough. I hope he can handle all the adjustments he's facing well, too.

Having slept entire nights sleeping sitting up with a kid sleeping on my chest or in my lap has taught me that some things just need to be at times.

We had a New Year's playdate this morning. I'm thinking of making a mimosa. Those two things may be related.
