Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My favorite is the people who re-enacted Frogger with a Roomba and a highway....

Have people heard this?

Due to pressure from Bush Administration officials, the National Park Service is not permitted to give an official age for the Grand Canyon. Additionally, a book claiming the Grand Canyon was created by Noah's flood is for sale at the National Park's bookstore.

The sale of Grand Canyon: A Different View was scheduled for review over three years ago, but no such review has been schedule or even requested. The creationist book was the only item approved for sale in 2003 (22 other items were rejected).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesus, WTF?

ION, I finally finished all the delicious yet sick-making toffee candy in my house. I am free!

I think the chocolate orange is all that's left now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have scored free office champagne (Roederer's - good stuff), and chocolate. The afternoon is saved.

I am getting paid to drink champagne.

Always Anti-fascist!

Considering the effect champagne has on me, I could do that. And get busted by a vice cop.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just read 400+ messages, and have nothing coherent to say (may also have to do with the flexeril and vicodin) except--how was I to know Grey Goose was pricey? I'm not sure I got that far in my b.org research.

Back from the South Coast, back home in Kingston. Vacation was brief and, well, it sounds weird to say relaxing when this bit of the vacation (ie not at the beach) is relaxing, and that bit about being in LA with no job isn't as stressful as it should be.

But it was.

Now I'm sorting digital photos and contemplating dinner.

Haven't had many good (recent) NYEs. This year is unplanned although a friend promises to invite me to a rocking bash. Maybe. Mostly I'm arriving at LAX at 8pm and will want not much more than food and sleep, I suspect.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just at the eye doctor's, and she dilated my eyes. The drive home was interesting, and it took me 6 minutes to park my car (those of you who have seen my parking space may actually be impressed it only took me that long.)
