Back from the South Coast, back home in Kingston. Vacation was brief and, well, it sounds weird to say relaxing when this bit of the vacation (ie not at the beach) is relaxing, and that bit about being in LA with no job isn't as stressful as it should be.

Haven't had many good (recent) NYEs. This year is unplanned although a friend promises to invite me to a rocking bash. Maybe. Mostly I'm arriving at LAX at 8pm and will want not much more than food and sleep, I suspect.

I was just at the eye doctor's, and she dilated my eyes. The drive home was interesting, and it took me 6 minutes to park my car (those of you who have seen my parking space may actually be impressed it only took me that long.)

I'm at home early and am using my free time deleting duplicate files from my My Music folder. My life is so exciting!

This past christmas trip home was the most relaxing xmas I've had in, um...4 years. I love my brother, nephew and SIL, but returning to old traditions and having no grand agenda (other than shop) and no drama was delightful.

It was also the first time I've mixed parents with friends from adulthood. They briefly met friends in college, but that was basically hellos at graduation, so it was kinda a milestone that hadn't occured to me until it was upon me. It was very good.
