Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Dark Deciderer is beating Bush 25% to 5%.

And I could blow this popsicle joint 15 whole minutes ago, so I'm not going to linger any further.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Last night I had George Clooney, David Tennant AND Denis Leary in my dream, and not ONE of them so much as kissed me. It was a long complicated dream with a huge cast and I spent most of it trying to get animals out of a living room and looking through closets for something to wear--what a waste of valuable REM sleep! Clooney did kinda flirt with me for a second, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and not ONE of them so much as kissed me.

This is very disappointing. I expect you to mack on every celebrity in your dreams, Robin.

Last night I dreamed about children lost at sea (carribean, sunlit - not North Atlantic at night), and another dream about golfing with tiny glass wands over a rocky seacliff.

I haven't remembered any dreams in a while so I'm surprised to find that my subconscious has taken up golf.

An Inconvenient Ice Shelf

TORONTO (AP) -- A giant ice shelf has snapped free from an island south of the North Pole, scientists said Thursday, citing climate change as a ''major'' reason for the event.

The Ayles Ice Shelf -- all 41 square miles of it -- broke clear 16 months ago from the coast of Ellesmere Island, about 500 miles south of the North Pole in the Canadian Arctic.

OK, my parents haven't named their roomba, but far too many descriptions in this article were familiar. When the roomba returns to base and starts doing its creepy-pulsing light recharge thing, my dad says it is nursing. Which is very Alien-esque.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Okay, we didn't get to go home early, but we just got hearty bonus checks.

Comparatively, I think this is the better way. WOOT!
