I'll be sure to tell New York for you.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Any wiser?
No.
Or deeper in debt?
Yes. Also, not feeling rejuvenated and ready to take up the gauntlet again, just dread-filled (dreadful, literally?) and wishing for another week off. Don't get me wrong, I had an amazing time! But I have about one day to get into school and unpack my new classroom and three days to grade papers and plan lessons before school starts again, and someplace in there I'd like to celebrate my birthday and New Year's! Oh, and hope my bag shows up from the airline sometime before I have to start teaching again.
Happy Birthday, quester.
I've had fun the last few New Years. I can't think of a single one that stands out as being the most fun ever. I've had a few good NYE and quite a few crappy ones.
Though the one year the host decided to blast the Overture from "2001: A Space Odyssey" at 10am the next morning to get everyone out of his house so he could go to work was pretty memorable.
Happy birthday, Emily! Good luck with the getting back in the swing of things.
did someone buy the birthday drink for you? what is ridiculously overpriced?
Yes, someone bought it for me. Mine was quite large, and included fancy champers, but was $15, I shit you not. Luckily, we gorged ourselves on bar mix, mitigating the cost somewhat.
I'll be sure to tell New York for you.I appreciate it. Thank you.

Oooh! Cipriani owns it, don't they? MFNlaw and I once got nailed for $15 bellinis at Cipriani.
And Hec and I once got kicked out of the Campbell Apt. because he was wearing sneakers. I tried to explain that he was a hipster and they were special sneakers but no go.
I was surprised they let my friend in wearing blue jeans, but I guess Standards Have Fallen. She wasn't wearing sneakers, though.
Is she a Hot Girl? Hot Girls can do pretty much whatever they want.

Well, was there Grey Goose?
I would say no, not a Hot Girl. Not that she's not actually a hot girl, but that's not how she presents. There were other people there in jeans, including at least one man. Standards, mang. Not What They Used To Be.
