I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Happy Birthday, quester.

I've had fun the last few New Years. I can't think of a single one that stands out as being the most fun ever. I've had a few good NYE and quite a few crappy ones.

Though the one year the host decided to blast the Overture from "2001: A Space Odyssey" at 10am the next morning to get everyone out of his house so he could go to work was pretty memorable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Emily! Good luck with the getting back in the swing of things.

did someone buy the birthday drink for you? what is ridiculously overpriced?

Yes, someone bought it for me. Mine was quite large, and included fancy champers, but was $15, I shit you not. Luckily, we gorged ourselves on bar mix, mitigating the cost somewhat.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'll be sure to tell New York for you.
I appreciate it. Thank you.

Oooh! Cipriani owns it, don't they? MFNlaw and I once got nailed for $15 bellinis at Cipriani.

And Hec and I once got kicked out of the Campbell Apt. because he was wearing sneakers. I tried to explain that he was a hipster and they were special sneakers but no go.

I was surprised they let my friend in wearing blue jeans, but I guess Standards Have Fallen. She wasn't wearing sneakers, though.

Is she a Hot Girl? Hot Girls can do pretty much whatever they want.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Well, was there Grey Goose?

I would say no, not a Hot Girl. Not that she's not actually a hot girl, but that's not how she presents. There were other people there in jeans, including at least one man. Standards, mang. Not What They Used To Be.

No, but I think there was name brand rum? Let me google. Edit: The menu is apparently not online, sadly.

Speaking of vodka, I think for NYE, if I don't develop other plans, I may determine whether gimlets with simple syrup are preferable to gimlets with Rose's, and maybe whether Ketel One or Skyy is better, since those are languishing in my freezer. May just steal Jessica's FreshDirect catering idea, too.
