I'll be fine. I'll be your bounty, Jubal Early. And I'll just fade away.

Holli's turning 21?

She's legal for all the smut!

I read somewhere that it had been advertised as a finite series--what did they say?

I think the teaser ad at the end said something about "over the next 11 episodes..." blah blah shocking conclusion-cakes. I'll look again when I watch the second part.... tomorrow? I definitely got the impression there were/are 13 episodes total.

Aw, jeez, Holli.

Reminds me of how long I've been online. And at this job. Which the auditor also did today. Damn you all!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

omg, Holli, I remember when we were all unbelieving that you were 13! And now look at you!

... I feel old.

That didn't sound very happy, did it? Sorry! I'm happy to see you back, I'm just feeling bound by age at the moment. So tell me to shut up!

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

... I feel old.

If it helps? So do I. I keep doing double takes, going, "I've been in fandom *how* long?" There are itty bitty baby fen *everywhere,* in fandoms that didn't exist when I was a whippersnapper. It's very disconcerting.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Bout halfway through Survivor. So does the bottle tell them that whoever they just voted out goes to the other team? Would solve the number problem with the jury.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holli! I was just talking about you in Bitches. Happy adulthood! No seriously, I hope your adulthood is happy.

However, I am home, and watching Top Chef

I came home and JZ was watching Top Chef. I asked when it was over so Emmett could watch his regular Avatar allotment before tubtime and he said, "No, that's okay, I like watching it."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've stayed at the Royal York, but we were there on an Expedia special rate, so our room was less than swanky. Very nice, though.

Slept on the hardest bed in the world at the Ritz in Montreal. I spend far too much time at the Swissotel these days, though that's not so much in that class.

So weird that the Peabody in Memphis just came up. My sister is pushing to go there for New Years. I'd never heard of it before yesterday.
