Did you burst into flames?
Happy Birthday, Strega!
Did you burst into flames?
It was just a little sizzle.
Happy Birthday, Strega! I hope it's full of treats.
Birthday happies, Strega! And congrats to the Industries.
Congratulations Corwood and Mrs. Corwood! and happy birthday Strega!
I am experienceing holiday time off whiplash. We had an email this am on behalf of the dean telling us we could leave at noon. My direct boss left at noon and we decided that I would leave at one because I had a few things to finish up. After she left HER boss's assistant came to tell all of us secretaries she would like us to do as much work as possible, but that we could leave at three (although it didn't sound like she was at all enthuisiastic about us leaving). So now I can't go, because my boss isn't here to tell the big boss's assistant that she told me I could leave-- and all the other secretaries are stuck, so I feel guilty.
I am at work. Well, I am in my office. I am not actually working, however.
Not doing anything with family for Christmas. Mom is hanging with Bro and grandkids as she always does, so we'll call and find out what everyone got and send our love. The DH and I are doing our 14th annual Xmas Movie Day. This year it looks like it will be Pan's Labryinth, Dreamgirls and Happy Feet and dinner at Jerry's Deli as we usually do.
I am working from home today. The last of our docs were built/published/taken out of my hands yesterday, my boss is in the UK for the next month, and my writers are either coming in late and leaving early, or are working from home too. So "working from home" in this context means "checking e-mail while wearing jammies and drinking tea".
Robin, that tradition rocks. If it were just me and the DH, I would totally suggest doing the same.
Happy Birthday, Strega!
Congratulations to the Corwoods! Or, um, the Industries! Anyway, happy baby!
