My elementary school, lunch was at 11:30. But we didn't actually have a cafeteria -- the school was built with the expectation that kids would go home for lunch. When I was there, maybe half the kids went home for lunch each day, and the ones who stayed at school ate in the classrooms.
In middle and high school, there was one cafeteria for grades 7-12. It could hold about two full grades at a time, so lunch was staggered. Seventh and eighth grades ate at 10:20, ninth and tenth at 11:20, and eleventh and twelfth at 12:20.
sara, are you telling me that the weather sucks and it will be treacherous?
I am at work. With peppermint bark and no intention of doing any work.
I guess I should get some studying done today. I can't believe how almost done I am with Christmas shopping. I mean, having mom do half of it helps, but December 22? What am I, Houdini?!

In two hours I have done three things that took approximately a minute. I expect to spend the rest of my day refreshing my LJ friendslist and furtively writing SGA fic.
I need constant and immedite entertainment. Where's a good kerfuffle when I desperately need one? Can't you all argue amongst yourselves?
On the upside?
Today is the first day without any injection for the first time in over 3 months. YAY for the end of scary medicines!
Also, only tangentially related, I found a Mr. Funny hand warmer which I think I'll give to Dad o' Sarameg.
Congratulations on the baby-to-be, Corwood!
Happy Birthday Strega!
Why is it that on a day off I wake up alert and unsleepy before 6:30, when I'm normally throwing pillows across the roomto hit the snooze button until 7:00?
After all my activity this morning, I'm afraid I don't have enough left for the final push to get me out the door! Whoops.
