Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Also catchy and probably not Casper-safe: Give the Jew-girl Toys [link]

Great news, Corwood!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I'm pretty sure last night's Colbert was the awesomest ever. Although I did keep waiting for Howard Zinn, who my cable company promised me.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

What am I missing?

Go-go boys?

I think Poppy was sobbing over putting the wrong son in the White House.

I think Poppy should have tried again himself instead of leaving it to either of his smirking, overly-entitled spawn.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Congrats, Corwood and family!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Right?! I'm surprised no one else posted about it. It was AWESOME!

For anyone who is keeping track, I bought one para a bottle of Bombay Sapphire (no Junipero to be found) and another I got ... wait, this isn't what I thought it would be. Apparently he's getting Canadian Club whiskey. In a bottle emblazoned in a poker theme. This is unfortunately tacky. But I also got them each a stainless steel bar set (shaker, etc.) to up the ante on their gift to me.

Another para is getting a steel bouquet.

The steel bouquet is the v. coolest.

Congrats, Corwood.

I'm firmly ensconced in bed again. Too tired to move. And it's freezing again.

That's hilarious.

I would love to see the steel bouquet, but my internet connection is kerfucked, and I can't get the page to load.

Crossing fingers that this works....

Congrats, Corwood!

Man, incipient siblinghood abounds these days.

Poor freezing Kat.

I have acheived a little more shopping, though my mom really did much better. I have fun shopping with other people, provided I'm not actually shopping, just egging them on. So I have to revisit several of the places, since I now know what I'd like to get there, I just wasn't actually, you know, shopping.

We've decorated to the poor fake tree (mom got it a few years ago because she wanted a tree even if they weren't actually here) and once again, it fills me with delight to say it has no theme whatsoever. And the brown lizard thing, though half consumed by the dog years ago, has been hung.

Now I gotta find luminaria supplies.
