Ann, that's a ferret.

Congrats, Corwood and family!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

OK, I'm pretty sure last night's Colbert was the awesomest ever. Although I did keep waiting for Howard Zinn, who my cable company promised me.

Right?! I'm surprised no one else posted about it. It was AWESOME!

For anyone who is keeping track, I bought one para a bottle of Bombay Sapphire (no Junipero to be found) and another I got ... wait, this isn't what I thought it would be. Apparently he's getting Canadian Club whiskey. In a bottle emblazoned in a poker theme. This is unfortunately tacky. But I also got them each a stainless steel bar set (shaker, etc.) to up the ante on their gift to me.

Another para is getting a steel bouquet.

The steel bouquet is the v. coolest.

Congrats, Corwood.

I'm firmly ensconced in bed again. Too tired to move. And it's freezing again.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Congratulations, Corwood!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Apparently he's getting Canadian Club whiskey. In a bottle emblazoned in a poker theme.

That's hilarious.

I would love to see the steel bouquet, but my internet connection is kerfucked, and I can't get the page to load.

Crossing fingers that this works....

Congrats, Corwood!

Man, incipient siblinghood abounds these days.

Poor freezing Kat.

I have acheived a little more shopping, though my mom really did much better. I have fun shopping with other people, provided I'm not actually shopping, just egging them on. So I have to revisit several of the places, since I now know what I'd like to get there, I just wasn't actually, you know, shopping.

We've decorated to the poor fake tree (mom got it a few years ago because she wanted a tree even if they weren't actually here) and once again, it fills me with delight to say it has no theme whatsoever. And the brown lizard thing, though half consumed by the dog years ago, has been hung.

Now I gotta find luminaria supplies.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Right?! I'm surprised no one else posted about it. It was AWESOME!

Tivo delay, man! I only just now watched it! It was, as you say, awesome. And man, Colbert has some nice arms.

(I am currently wearing my awesome new Tek Jansen t-shirt that my wonderful husband got me as a surprise Hanukkah gift. On the back it says "I've obviously had hundreds of girlfriends." It is the bestest thing ever.)

Congrats on the second sphere, Corwood!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Thanks, y'all! We haven't decided whether to learn the gender this time around or whether we'd prefer curves to straight lines again.

I loved Colbert last night, too. When he showed up with Rick Nielson's guitar - well, that was comedy gold. I'm a bit less enthused by the appearance of that old war criminal Kissinger, even if there was a level of meta self-mocking.
