Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Curses! My stupid geriatric computer won't play You Tube. Phooey. I always whine that I want a new computer to my hubby, but it really is slower than Time, especially for any movies or for uploading pictures.

OK, I don't really want him to be my boyfriend, I just want him to live in the corner of my living room. So he can entertain me on command.

Hmm. He'd be a hit at parties, but I'm guessing that keeping him would involve a bit more upkeep than it's worth.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

OK, that is HI-larious.

mac needed a low-key today. It has been kinda crazy for a couple of days, so we went to church (some trauma when we tried to go to the kids' rooms, but I was expecting that and he eventually just left with me and went to the service), had his first BK and then came home to decorate the tree.

There has been a fair amount of pouting the last 2 days anytime I say no, but today we got told that pouty boys take naps. He kinda got it and snapped out of it. Tonight we go to meet another little Ethiopian boy who has been here 2 years and we are having Ethiopian food. I hope it goes well.

Our wings are not tired.

So much so quickly for dear mac. I hope the visit tonight will be helpful for him. As overwhelming as this must be, kids his age are so amazingly adaptable. He will learn so fast with your loving guidance.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hmm. He'd be a hit at parties, but I'm guessing that keeping him would involve a bit more upkeep than it's worth.

Luckily, he's got his own income!

I need to keep track of that Jack Black thing to send to various members of my family on their birthdays.

Poor tired mac! Tonight should be good.

Ha! Such a good mommy. I do the same thing with Frances. At first it was just me noting outloud that whenever she gets tired she gets cranky, but now it's turned into, "I don't want to be cranky, I want to be a good girl."

And yet I wonder, is some of the pouty just a result of taking in so much in such a short time? I'm glad today has been low key.

The big dilemma I'm facing now is do I want to eat Italian or drive further into Germantown so I can see if they have any interesting specials at Yia Yia's?

She liked her present!

Who wouldn't like that? Plus, there's the added bonus of making Trudy very jealous!

Glad the shopping all worked out. Hope you're less stressed.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Just got back from seeing Little Miss Sunshine with Nutty and Ellen S. (who says hi, btw). Steve Carell is almost unrecognizable, but in a very very funny way -- it's hard to imagine he also was the 40-Year-Old-Virgin and Michael on The Office. That's some funny range, that is. (Not to mention all the other fine performances in the movie.)
