What is even happening?

The class of '83 at my school had the prettiest people.

My dh is class of '82. They were also pretty, but seemed so much older, at the time.

What is even happening?

Oh, and the class of '84 (at my school) was the friendliest class. We were lonely without them, our senior year.

PTB timefold, beth. Don't worry about it. And now, watch, as I stop over-posting.

Because books.

I am now consumed with the desire to watch Flashdance now. And listen to Purple Rain. And find, magically, MTV playing videos. Like Duran Duran, or even Thomas Dolby.

I also kind of want to play quarters with really bad beer.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

We were class of '93 - we were the smartest, but like unto herding a box of cats and very hippie-ish. Our Homecoming Queen wore Birkenstocks for the ceremony.

The class of '92 was more traditionally "high school" - like all the cliches in a high school movie. We bonded pretty tightly with them.

The class of '94 were overwhelmingly yuppie-esque - future MBAs, the majority of them. No one understood them.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, that 'splains us, j. I was class of '92.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

88.

I was wearing knickers in like '80 or '81, I think. I don't think I would have been caught dead in them by '85.

Yes, this.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Damndamndamn. I think Mac is incontinent. I've found three suspicious puddles on the floor today and when I asked her to move from where she was sleeping under the table, I found a fourth one in the worst possible position. It looks like it happens when she's sleeping.

I have no extra cash for serious vet bills right now and I can't have pools of urine all over the same floor Olivia's crawling on. Gah. I'm putting her bed in the laundry room today and we'll deal with it when DH gets home tonight.
