YAY! Seeing Jesse!

LJ is slow for me, but the internet is slow. I had to call hotel tech support which I am sure is the worst job on the planet to have.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

A Survivor note, also from last week:

Watching Ozzie dive into the water during the challenge was beautiful.

Robin! I've missed you!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Survivor speculation:

So, if Ozzy were to make it to final three and win the immunity, who do you think he would take to final 2?

Robin -- Yes! Incredible. So much grace and power.

What is even happening?

Holy horrors. A stomach bug has sent home 280 students and 12 staff members from a (somewhat) nearby elementary school (with about 800 students, total). [link]

That is some kickass bug.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh, Jesse, what did you think of 30 Rock?

Re: Survivor, I don't know who he would take, but I think it would be a mistake for him to take Yul or Adam.

brenda: Of course, it all depends on who's left, but I'm betting he'd take Yul. They're both stand-up guys, and I think Ozzie would want it to be between the two of them. I think that would probably be the hardest final two they've ever had. I think if it was those two, there would be almost no BUT YOU STABBED ME IN THE BACK from the jury. Except for maybe from Jonathan. But even then, I suspect that Jonathan is exactly the type to take the "Hey, it's just a game, and you've got to play as hard as you can to win."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought 30 Rock was OK. I don't know that I liked it enough to kick something else off my usual Thursday routine, but I'll watch it when whatever else is in reruns, I guess.

I was possibly overly distracted by the boyfriend storyline.

Grrr..... Last week, I updated my Windows Media Player to WMP11, and that dramatically improved the performance of CBS' InnerTube player (though it still did a weird thing -- the first time through, only part 1 of 4 would play, the rest would not. Second time through, only 1 and 2, third time through I got to see part 3, and only on the fourth try did I get part 4. I think the ads they run in between parts are not always coded properly.)

Today, it's getting hung up and having buffer problems again. Feh. CBS needs to get better coders in there for their streaming media player.
