What is wrong with you people?!

Don't you mean what's right and judicious?

I'm sorry, I like BK food fine. But that dude? Is freaky leering stalker nightmare material. I miss the days of paper crowns.

OC: A Mazzy Star cover?! Huh. Still liked it. I need to re-get that cd, see if it still stands up. Reeks of my college years. Threw me back to driving in the Carolina rain and indian food, of all things. That and the trip back to Tx with Fi. Huh. This put me in a weird mood.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This put me in a weird mood.

What song? "Fade Into You"?

In other TV-uses-music news, JZ reports back to me that her new co-worker, Lynn (who dropped by shortly after the baby was born to deliver baby clothes) is excited to meet me because she's a Tom Waits fan. And she's met T-Bone Burnett. Because her sister-in-law used to work on Gilmore Girls and T-Bone helped with the music. Actually the SiL is Amy Palladino whatshername.

I actually can't say. My short term memory for songs is really, really short. It was less the actual song, and more the context I associate it with. Lost friends and all that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If it can wait until tomorrow, I'm totally in.
Another YAY!

Who am I beating up?

The NY evening corporate librarian.

I mean, I guess I can understand how three separate emails saying I'm going to be busy today and tomorrow might not get across the fact that I am too busy to do NY requests, but dude, when you call to inform me that two new NY requests come in, when we both know perfectly well I got those emails, and I tell you I am very busy and don't think I'll have time to do them, why on earth do you call me 25 minutes later to ask me if I can do those same two requests?

Jack ass.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Because her sister-in-law used to work on Gilmore Girls and T-Bone helped with the music. Actually the SiL is Amy Palladino whatshername.

"Used to work on"?

On the OC, I wanted the jazzy carols they were playing at the party.

Jack ass.

Indeed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Used to work on"?

Yeah, that was my take. I'll ask her about it at the xmas party on Tuesday.

Actually, I'm a big fan of T-Bone's wife, Sam Phillips, who's an excellent songwriter and musician herself.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now I'm watching 30 Rock, and no one told me Ryan O'Reilly was her boyfriend!

Art Crawl!!!

How was the OC? I briefly thought of watching it -- but I had SPN on in case of preview and mostly read through it.
