I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

It would probably take some sort of weapon to take him down. Something that could shatter plastic.

Nope. Flames. A good welder's torch. Hell, a kitchen torch would do some damage.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Only by destroying what we fear most will we be safe.

... and what I fear most is that I will one day "wake up with the King."

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

The big-plastic-head BK guy?

Personally, I think you should go leave nothing to chance and go the Buffy route. Rocket launcher all the way.

Don't you mean what's right and judicious?

I'm sorry, I like BK food fine. But that dude? Is freaky leering stalker nightmare material. I miss the days of paper crowns.

OC: A Mazzy Star cover?! Huh. Still liked it. I need to re-get that cd, see if it still stands up. Reeks of my college years. Threw me back to driving in the Carolina rain and indian food, of all things. That and the trip back to Tx with Fi. Huh. This put me in a weird mood.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This put me in a weird mood.

What song? "Fade Into You"?

In other TV-uses-music news, JZ reports back to me that her new co-worker, Lynn (who dropped by shortly after the baby was born to deliver baby clothes) is excited to meet me because she's a Tom Waits fan. And she's met T-Bone Burnett. Because her sister-in-law used to work on Gilmore Girls and T-Bone helped with the music. Actually the SiL is Amy Palladino whatshername.

I actually can't say. My short term memory for songs is really, really short. It was less the actual song, and more the context I associate it with. Lost friends and all that.
