So the Sox signed Matsuzaka. What's that sound I hear? George Steinbrenner wailing and gnashing his teeth? Sweet.
Happy Birthday, Gar!
Thanks for the Chanukah reminder, Nilly! For some reason, I'd thought it started Saturday night. Clearly, I need to read my calendar more carefully.
Personally, I'd probably eat the ham. But I've learned that my "bring it on, food poisoning" attitude scares some people.
haha that's kind of my attitude too. I can't sacrifice the ham to the cats. The ham is the tastiest part!
I need to figure out what cookies to make for cookie swap this weekend. Competitive cookie swap. And I have no time to experiment. I'm thinking of taking my fave christmas cookie -- almond, raspberry thumbprint cookies -- and switching up almonds for pine nuts and raspberry jam for lemon curd.

I probably should have mentioned I have the same attitude. Well, close. Not so much bring it on, more eh, doesn't smell funny.

Why Spell Check is Bad, part 2.
A while ago I posted about my boss emailing someone to let them know she had to food "allegories".
Today she sent an email sending her "coagulations" to someone for an award they won.
Happy Birthday, Gar!
I'm stressing over the job situation--waiting on the offer is getting harder and harder because all sorts of longer-term things are coming up on the current job and I don't want to commit to anything and I'm afraid people are going to be looking at me funny if I don't volunteer (to, say, go to New Orleans for a project).
Make the offer already!
Welcome to the new guys Sonus and Omnis!
Yes! I'm Emperor Norton, the coolest mad guy ever! I've even got a bridge semi-named after me.
As am I. I can totally see it, too.
eta...
I'd pitch the ham steak, because I'm quite certain I'd pay whatever it cost, not to throw up. Besides, not much prep goes into cooking one. It's no cheesecake -- know what I'm sayin'?

That is awesome.
