OK, I have to remember not to drive through Park Heights tomorrow. Hanukkah= mondo traffic, road closure, etc in that area for various events and people gawking at Hanukkah House. Which is cool, unless you are trying to get home in a timely manner. 34th street has already tested my holiday spirit.
I'm picking up a purple stain from somewhere. Tips of my nails. It's weird.
I did not! Bummer. I always look for him around the neighborhood, too.
Edit: I mean, my neighborhood where we both live, I think.
I have a food safety question! I made delicious and ridic easy ham steak, roasted brussel sprouts, and baked sweet tater for dinner last night. I covered the leftovers in foil and put the dish back in the turned off oven so it could cool down enough to put in the fridge and so the cat wouldn't get it. And then I forgot to transfer it to the fridge! OH NO! I just rescued it. Do you think the food is safe to eat? My house is pretty cool.
Caligula!
Wait a minute. I said I
didn't
want my siblings in my bed. Don't make me go all whacked-out Roman on your ass, test.
Lisah, give the ham to the cat after all and eat the rest. Except for the brussel sprouts, because ew. Or maybe give those to the cat too.
(Personally, I'd probably eat the ham. But I've learned that my "bring it on, food poisoning" attitude scares some people.)
So the Sox signed Matsuzaka. What's that sound I hear? George Steinbrenner wailing and gnashing his teeth? Sweet.
Happy Birthday, Gar!
Thanks for the Chanukah reminder, Nilly! For some reason, I'd thought it started Saturday night. Clearly, I need to read my calendar more carefully.
Personally, I'd probably eat the ham. But I've learned that my "bring it on, food poisoning" attitude scares some people.
haha that's kind of my attitude too. I can't sacrifice the ham to the cats. The ham is the tastiest part!
I need to figure out what cookies to make for cookie swap this weekend. Competitive cookie swap. And I have no time to experiment. I'm thinking of taking my fave christmas cookie -- almond, raspberry thumbprint cookies -- and switching up almonds for pine nuts and raspberry jam for lemon curd.

I probably should have mentioned I have the same attitude. Well, close. Not so much
bring it on,
more
eh, doesn't smell funny.
