The evil is this way?

Do you wear a cape?

Now he's having a fit that I'm typing and he isn't. So very sad. Tragic. Breaking my heart. Now he's mad that I'm making him pick up the peas he just threw on the floor. I'm a slave driver! He didn't ask to be born!

I don't think they realize how entertaining they are, when they rail against the injustice of life and the tyranny of the old people.

Hey, is Li'l Sphere now the youngest poster here now?

My brother had to give the nephew his own keyboard when he was that age, just so he could get work done. Now, of course, the nephew steals work computers from his coworkers and has to have his own lab experiments. So that might be a cautionary tale. Or fodder for adventures in the future! You too can have a child with his own petri dish!

Oh & I need to thank Allyson and whoever else it was who mentioned stuff from the JPL store. A good portion of the nephew's b-day presents came from there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really should get off my duff and go to the gym, shouldn't I? I feel slightly ill, but there's no point pretending that a sore throat is enough to keep me out. I mean, I'm sure to get sicker, and I don't want to dilute the wallowing I'll do then.

Please to not have me sick a) in Jamaica b) at the krav holiday party.

Please.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Bones: so, with the 'that's too much blood' was anybody else thinking, "cigarette smoking man was alive"? Or am I the biggest geek evah? Or am I remembering wrong and it wasn't csm and I'm the smallest geek evah?

ita, I don't know if it is any consolation, but if you have the same cold I do, it appears to be going away with minimal fuss on day 5. The first 4 days, I really felt off if I didn't feel dead. Still some minor congestion, and I'm taking stuff to keep it from settling in my chest, but I'm vaguely human again.

I missed something on Bones. Was the second human torch the FBI director dude? Or just a random other FBI bad guy from way back.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hey is there a new Bones tonight?!

:: drops everything, rushes to TiVo....::

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Lessons learned from this evening's Natter: parents are MEAN.

I just did a bunch of ridiculous Christmas shopping. Although I'm pretty sure the bacon bandaids are a present for me.

Hah! I got my brother some. He's getting a bonus of a few sushi ones too. He's going to laugh. And then get mugged by a 4 year old, I think.
