Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Lessons learned from this evening's Natter: parents are MEAN.

I just did a bunch of ridiculous Christmas shopping. Although I'm pretty sure the bacon bandaids are a present for me.

Hah! I got my brother some. He's getting a bonus of a few sushi ones too. He's going to laugh. And then get mugged by a 4 year old, I think.

There are a couple of other ridiculous things in my bag I may keep too, but the onesie with "NEW" on it is definitely a gift.

Hey, the new Bones tonight was directed by David Duchovny. Good times.

I have to admit, I kept the packing tape that was bright pink with Black Cat faces all over it. Using it to sent packages!

I picked up some of the expensive body butters I got for my SIL a couple years ago (samples then.) It smells like buttercream frosting and chocolate mint. I can't stand them (too sweet) but she adored them. I was just glad the store (Watermelon Sugar) still carried them.

I figure this weekend, I'll hit Dick's for wool socks, Hunt Valley for something, get some more smellies, Atomic Pop for weird shit for the brother and hope like hell I find stuff for mom in the process. May have to hit a bona fide mall for gift cards. My brother & SIL are big on gift cards.

Do you wear a cape?

Two, actually.

Li'l Sphere: the youngest poster until someone else gets tired of fending off their toddler?

Heh. Or a kitten. But that crosses species lines. In any case, he's the first I recall, and certainly the youngest for now.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, every once in a while, I think that people aren't that bad.

Then I drive home.

HAH. Yeah, I can get my cranky amped on the drive home. And that's only 6 miles of in-city traffic.

I just had an insight on why The Uniform holds its appeal for me (see my liking MASH, CSI, The Unit, etc.) And it's not as fucked up as I originally surmised. Hrm. Must mull.

brillig

Bones: I was confused about the directory too. And I'd have caught on to the "priest" a lot quicker if I'd had recognized Ryan O'Neal. I found Zach's makeover interesting, since he was the one who asked for it. It always seems that someone forces the makeover on these characters.

And I forgot Duchovny did this one! It didn't suck.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Top Chef: Not been a fan of Mia's for a while now, but that? That was going out with dignity. Go Elia! Choose Elia!
