jesse, go clean your bathroom. I will be bathing mac soon in solidarity.
Does this mean you're finally getting the EST schedule? Yay!
Also, jesse? Bathroom cleaning is instant gratification.
How was today? I have more questions, but was braindead today. I didn't realize how braindead until this afternoon, when the fog started lifting. I'm tenatively thinking I'm getting better. Of course, it could morph into something else vile, but I'm no longer completely overwhelmed by how vile my head feels. Knocked over by sneezes, sure. But unable to hold a though? No more.
I love cleaning the bathroom. It's small, so quick to do, and it's staisfying when you're finished.
Oh, I wanted to share this amazing image: [link] From Monday's frontpage CSM article on Darfur. It's so freaking beautiful and evocative and sobering.
msbelle, mentioned your new son to our Ethopian-American attorney today. She says congratulations and she'd be happy to translate in a pinch, "though he'd probably laugh at my accent"
That is a great picture, Sara.
ION, the local news lady just said some guy "posed as a fake cop." OK, I'm just taking a guess here, but I bet he posed as a
real
cop. Don't you think?
I looked up the CSM article on Darfur that sarameg's link came from, and that led me to this article on geography, which led me to a link for the Geography Cup.
Looks like fun.
You know, I wish I could get through just one episode of
Friday Night Lights
without tearing up. Maybe that will be my New Year's resolution. Riggins
was so sweet today. And the awkwardness of Matt just kills me.
For those interested in catching up, apparently all episodes will be available at nbc.com over the holidays.
I hear that Bravo is marathoning them on December 30th.
At least the
Matt/Coach stuff
was funny.
I wish I could find a larger one, but didn't in a brief search. It stopped me at the mailbox.
The Unit surprises me. I was sorta groaning at
a typical heartwarming PG CBS episode and then, um, no.
And maybe I'm just in a mood, but I find it somewhat interesting that the
daughter called it.
For all the macho and explosions and such that I enjoy (mmm, shirtless men plus the voices and for some reason that makes little sense in my mind, Mack. Read me a phonebook, please) the women's roles are necessary and not diminished to being mere distractions.
Well, we are attempting to get on EST time. The goal was no nap an to bed by 8-9. both of us fell asleep in the chair listening to music at 5, so the nap happened, thus we are just going to bed at 10. me too, g'night.
