You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

What is even happening?

They do. They're both so possessive of me. It's a trial.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

We did know that Deep Discount DVD has a 20% off sale through 11/18, right?

My shipment went out this morning.

To those of you trying to avoid this information, I do apologize.

I'm borderline sociopathic in the morning. I want Dexter to drop by my cube with a box of donuts we won't eat just so we can exchange a look of OMGWTFNORMALPEOPLE.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Mmm, donuts.

I had a ham and cheese croissant instead.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There was a scone about a block away calling my name. So I had to get it and eat it.

Nummy....

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

wah! I don't want to go to work. If work is somehow closed when I get there, I swear I will mop the floors. And get more editing done. Okay. Maybe I'll nap for a little while, but seriously, I'll be somewhat productive as well.

Maybe there will be some sort of deer emergency.

I don't want to go to work either. Sadly I have a meeting this afternoon, and tons of other stuff to do. Joy.

In better news, it looks like I passed the first hurdle in the application process for this new job I've been tracking. The website says my resume has been forwarded to the hiring official. Yay! ::crosses fingers::

The status is NOT quo.

I'm trying to make myself eat oatmeal at a bagel shop close to school so that I have some sustenance before work. I have to be there in 15 minutes, and I feel crummy. Go Team Immune System! Or not.

Compassionately intolerant

Weirdest celebrity dream lately? Just this morning...I dreamt that Maria Lark (the middle daughter on Medium) was jumping all over my bed while I tried to sleep. Odd.

Weirder, and chokingly maddening, still? OJ about to make an obscene (and I use that word purposely) amount of money for not!confessing on TV and in a new book. I'm so disgusted, I can't even link to the nypost story. I honestly could not believe it when I walked past the paper box on the way to the office this morning. I shouldn't be surprised, I suppose. But lord, I am sickened.
