If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Right, except there didn't seem to be an outcry from anyone, except one, unnamed blogger

The blogger is/claims to be a parent. But otherwise yeah.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

She then fumed that a “pagan ritual” is “an educational experience my children don’t need.”

Like mistletoe, the yule log and Advent candles?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I bet she decorates for "Christmas" in red & green too.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Am listening to the local "Jack" FM station, which is quite the interesting mix of familiar songs and "I haven't heard that in ages!"(Not that it was a bad thing to never hear some songs...)

There are occasional piecees of white shit flying throught the air. Mostly in weird directions because it is very windy out.

I like B'more, but times like these I am very envious of SoCal inhabitants.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My main reaction to SoCal weather right now is "Hey! It'll be even warmer in Jamaica!"

Get back to me when the rains set in. Or it actually cools off. I'd swear this is warmer than this time last year at least.

It isn't SNOWING there! It was really lovely when I was out there. Plus, mountains. Seeing real ones again made me miss 'em. At least I'll be seeing some again in little over a week.
