I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Hivemind question: I seem to remember a discussion about a medication that made one crave carbs. Does anyone remember something like that? I think ita was involved and it may have been about her migraines.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Elavil said that it might make me crave desserts. Not much of a feat really. But it might be why I finally gained the weight I was trying to.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Isn't digital capable of better and more predictable quality?

Yes, and takes up about a 10th of the storage space compared to VHS stock too. But the larger corporations especially are just stubborn about upgrading. It's perplexing.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Elavil said that it might make me crave desserts.

I may have missed this discussion, but...how do you know?

(PS: I heart the crazy unpredictable side effects of anti-depressants, like the month where I was in love with every male I saw on television.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Elavil made me gain weight I didn't want. It's still here on my ass, if anyone wants it.

The only antidep that's worked for me is Wellbutrin. Everything else just made me more lethargic. And hungry.

How to Regain Control of a Spooked Camel

I read that a spooked caramel.

Which is weird because I was just telling the story of how my uncle and I were almost killed by a wild nougat stampede in New Mexico a few years ago.

...Did anyone watch Day Break? I had to deal with Jericho so I watched the first half and then recorded the rest, but it was almost as Infocom-y as I wanted.

Also: Adam Baldwin is still extraordinarily tall.

And Jericho is still written by monkeys.
