GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Thanks, all.

At least now I know that I'll have some form of postive contribution to the future. (Well, provided the kid doesn't turn out to be an axe-murderer or something.)

Also the two main streets have a center pile of snow that totally impedes your view of oncoming traffic when you're trying to cross the street.

That's always fun.

I've been super-lazy in regards to the snow. So far I've only shoveled the path from my house to my garage and just enough of my driveway I can pull my car in and out of the garage without it getting stuck. Though I'll have to make sure everything is clear by next weekend so the gf can get to and from her car when she's here.

Congratulations, Kalshane!

sumi, is there a grocery store in the area that delivers? That might be your best option, today.

Why do I go to the library book sale? I should know better.

Art Crawl!!!

I don't think that there is -- this is a small town.

I think part of what is both frustrating and freaking me out is that I'm feeling like I'm seeing a glimpse into my future and it's scary - you know to not be able to do stuff and also not really have people who can help you out. (I mean, I have people who would -- if they were here but the people I'm closest to don't actually live in any great proximity to me.

Okay, so I had some chocolate, iced my leg (now I'm all chilled), cuddled the cat Ivan and watched a bit of Pirates of the Caribbean. Feeling m uch better now. Up to going downstairs and checking on the boiler.

Congrats, Kalshane!!

Great, so tomorrow morning, I get to angst about xmas shopping?

Nah, you'll be out of the woods as long as you're not angsting about raising children.

So I only bought one thing that may be for me, but ended up taking a long walk through the Village, which was great. I saw carolers! Now I have a beer.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have thoughts of making black bean soup tomorrow, so that's why I needed.... a six pack.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Ah - are you making black bean soup along the lines of this recipe:

[link]

The nice thing about it is it uses only one bottle (or can) of beer in the soup. So you still have five left for drinking.
