Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Kind of neat - 10 Minute Mail. Free service that lets you sign up for a temporarily valid email address (for registrations etc), with no risk of spam because it expires in 10 minutes.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Hooray for the FrankenCar!

Thanks! *waves at Nora* It's a 2002 Subaru Impreza/Outback with only 60K. I've decided it should be called THE TARDIS because it feels so much bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Make your own gum: [link]

What's your flavor – sour, fruity, hot? Make your favorite with this homemade bubblegum kit. You'll make it, flavor it, color it, shape it and wrap it. Share it with your friends or chew it all yourself; it's your gum after all! You can make sour gum, color-change gum, spicy gum and even gooey center-filled gum – or try mixing the flavors to create a really unique taste.

Celery gum! Olive gum!

"Now that you've chosen me to lead you, I would like to broaden our platform to do stuff Jesus actually told us to do."

"No."

Keith Olbermann was really funny about this last night. "We're not going to do that because then people might think that we actually READ THE BIBLE!!"

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Jesse, totally agreed on what "comes naturally," not much of it does! I bought it for her, though, that she'd never thought of it before. I think most things come, if not naturally, then very easily for her. I think she thought it would be the same with children, especially based on what she saw around her. It's not just that what House said hurt her, but that it cast doubt on her potential mothering abilities at a time she was also doubting her skills as a doctor, again because of House. She's conflating the two and when she's calmed down, will probably go kick House's ass all around the hospital. If he's still there.

brillig

I almost expected Cuddy to be the one to turn House in, if for nothing else but to protect her hospital.

Chase all of a sudden has a backbone and willpower. Foreman respects House, Cameron wants to bed House, but Chase actually trusts House. And he obviously convinced House that he, Chase, was right.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oddly enough about the Cuddy thing I was watching a syndicated episode of Scrubs last night with the exact same concern-- I guess that blunted it for me.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's okay if I shut my door and put my head down on my desk, right?

Also, where was the site where you can make your own action figure?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've already scheduled tomorrow off of work just so I can start using up my remaining PTO (I still have 5 1/2 days left, in addition to the 4 days I'm taking for Xmas), and I'm really glad I did so now that I've heard the forecast for a snowstorm starting tomorrow and going into Friday (I do have to come in on Friday, unfortunately).
