Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've already scheduled tomorrow off of work just so I can start using up my remaining PTO (I still have 5 1/2 days left, in addition to the 4 days I'm taking for Xmas), and I'm really glad I did so now that I've heard the forecast for a snowstorm starting tomorrow and going into Friday (I do have to come in on Friday, unfortunately).

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've heard the forecast for a snowstorm starting tomorrow and going into Friday

Sounds like tomorrow morning we'll get freezing rain and/or sleet. The snow will follow in the afternoon.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Will come back to the House stuff, but I need the hivemind.

I have a kid who wants to do a big project on the rise of Hitler and the Nazis. Any ideas for good resources (books, etc) for a fairly mature 5th grader? Especially not stuff focused on the Holocaust, since that's not her focus

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

We're supposed to have some sort of wintery mix by Thursday. December is a little early for that in Texas.

Best friend got back from her weeklong birthday vacation in Jamaica. Tropical depression at an open air resort. It rained the whole time.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

So House *did* air. This is confusing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I forgot my ipod today, and I've already run out of work to do. Will people sing to me while I read that SPN story Consuela was pimping?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I forgot my ipod today, and I've already run out of work to do. Will people sing to me while I read that SPN story Consuela was pimping?

No, because music will distract you from its OMGPERFECTION.

Possibly, I am overly in love with that story. Hmm.
