Wilson:
You're right that it's totally in character, and I also think that the combination of House not giving a damn about the destruction of Wilson's life, House punching Chase, and House digging on Cuddy, showed Wilson that House is changing for the worse.
From what we've seen of House,
true he's a jerk, but the Vicodin was never more important than the job or the few people that House values.
Cuddy:
so much awesome. I hope she gets to have a baby.
House
seemed horrified himself that he hit Chase, plus I think Chase made big points with House for sticking to the point of the patient rather than getting pissy at getting hit. I think House himself is at the point where he knows he needs help, he just can't bring himself to ask the people who know him.
Wilson
probably thinks he's helping House.
I love Foreman.
Yeah, he may be heartless, but he's a clear-eyed kind of heartless.
Cameron
continues to annoy me, though I'm much less of the "please, God, just fire her already" this season.
Cuddy
I feel so sorry for. If she's had implants that failed, I have more sympathy than if she's just been trying with insemination or something. For all that House went for her jugular, I sometimes think she would be a much better match for him than Stacy, who creeps me out.
I interrupt all this House talk to say "Woot!!" I am a car owner again! Got the plates and everything, and it's all done but to put them on (and then get two inspections and await the lovely excise tax bill, but, hey! - car owner again).
And the sun's trying to come out now. So far, not a bad day.
Also on House
Tritter is using police intimidation tactics and needs to be serious reprimanded. I do hope they wrap this up soon. Am I the only one who wonders what happend to the guy who shot House and then disappeared?
House:
Yeah, the cop is seriously pissing me off. Even with the possible evidence that House might be trafficking, a lot of the things he's doing seem way too shady. Sure, it might be minor trafficking, but it seems way too much like the guy's personal vendetta. Earlier in this arc, I was thinking of him as a "House" of crime, what with the deliberate use of the "everybody lies," but I don't see House holding this kind of grudge against a "patient." I'm still hoping that he's got a nasty inexplicable crotch rot and House will be the only one to save him.
Chase:
Was I overanalyzing, or was he very much the heir apparent in this episode? The sudden lightbulb moment, even the jeans-sneakers-jacket look? He's got enough of the right attitude to become House's mini-me, and I wonder if he'll be spearheading the team de facto if House goes into rehab.
Hooray for the FrankenCar!

It's a 2002 Subaru Impreza/Outback with only 60K. I've decided it should be called THE TARDIS because it feels so much bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

"Now that you've chosen me to lead you, I would like to broaden our platform to do stuff Jesus actually told us to do."
"No."
Keith Olbermann was really funny about this last night. "We're not going to do that because then people might think that we actually READ THE BIBLE!!"
