Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

they'd be given away by the way they keep bumping into the furniture.

Rats! They're on to me!

Coding and Sleeping

To date, nothing science has found has talked me out of theism.

I don't see how science could ever disprove theism. If there is a creator science would just be about how the creation works.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Watching last Thursday's CSI. Did they actually think Daltrey was so well disguised you wouldn't see from the beginning it was all the same guy, or is there some other twist yet to come?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That first thing, Brenda.

Also, apropos of nothing, Nutty knocked Zapp Brannigan out of my tag, thus cruelly dashing any hopes of a permanent Futurama tag majority.

Well, that was really not worth staying up for. Feh. I hate stunt casting.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Brenda, it was clear to me from the very beginning. they should have found a better actor to play the young mobster whose name I forget. He and Daltrey look nothing alike, even counting the 30 years. but that's what happens in that sort of situation.

Perkins the cat is at the vet today burning a hole in my savings account recovering from getting his teeth cleaned

I'm going to have to take Amarna in to get her teeth cleaned after the holidays, but the good thing is that the animal hospital is offering a discount on all health maintenance services performed in the months of January and February. They do this every year, apparently, and many of their patients take advantage of the discount.

I've got my tree up, finally, but will wait until tomorrow to put the lights on, and then I'll put the ornaments up later in the week. The new apartment's living room is definitely smaller than my last one, because my furniture is significantly crammed due to the tree sitting in front of the balcony door.

I have to run over to Michael's and pick up some ribbon for the garland sometime soon (the first year I had the tree, I used some really pretty white ribbon with gold pattern running through it, which was very nice against the dark green of the tree).

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It always cracks me up how Mom will ask why I don't have a pet, then with the next breath complain about her cat's vet bills and habit of waking her up by yowling in the middle of the night.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
