Man, now I'm totally sucked into that damn Funny Farm thing, and don't feel like going to bed, and will watch Nip/Tuck, even though I have to get up early tomorrow! I am Teh Lame.

What the hell do I make with the rest of this tofu?
I'm serious on this: cut it into slices that are maybe 1/2 inch thick at the most; wrap each slice in plastic wrap; freeze the slices overnight; next day, unwrap the slices and press them between paper towels to get any additional moisture out (the freezing will have removeda good bit of the moisture); then fling the slices in a baking dish, dump BBQ sauce (or any sauce you desire) on top, and bake at 400-ish for 25-30 minutes.
The result has the texture of chicken, and BBQ sauce (which is my only experience with this recipe) has such a strong flavor that that's all you taste. So it's like baked chicken.
There's a restaurant here called Crack Pot. Seems their specialty is crab cakes (ew!) Spokesman is the most grey personality ever.
how do Buffistas feel about the use of "hopefully" as a sentence adverb?
I know it's not right, but I do it anyway.
Lee is me in this. You would think that I, being a Professional Editor of Stuff, would (a) remember that using "hopefully" like that is wrong, and (b) care. I don't. This is what happens when you spend too long editing for the Evil Empire. Grammar? Don't care! Just let the docs validate and check in.
Oh, and msbelle, while I know it's not quite your thing, if you decide Mac needs some custom-designed Gothic Charm School apparel, let me know.

Hee, hee.
Kat, I'm just in a dangerous mood. While that may seem kravlike, it's only a plus if I am doing it in the street. At the centre, someone may very well get hurt.
Friday morning it is.
Quester, I'm not sure I manage money the best, so I can't give advice from my own experience. I've heard great things about Motley Fool. Start with Fool's School. Also have a look at about.com's money section--they have a bit on personal finance.
Oh! thank's for the advice, ita! I'll check them out.
I was kind of ranting. Frustrated. Maybe my shrink will give me new drugs tommorrow. I want one that will overcome lethargy.

Awesome. I have marked your post and will try this. Also, duh, I could learn how to make miso soup, which I love and would totally eat.
And Chaucer in Middle English just makes me feel stupid.
It gets easier as you go along. Of course, now when I look at it, it makes no sense whatsoever! You can always get a modern version to read alongside of the Middle English. .
People keep saying that Sue. And i understand what you mean. But seriously? It's all a mystery.
I found when I listen it to it read aloud, I get most of it, if I follow along with the riverside edition. But damn. It's too hard.
Which is why I have a shirt that says, "Chaucer. Because Shakespeare Was Too Easy."
Has anyone else seen those "guy lives in his car for a week" ads? Does anyone else think they're kind of offensive?
I hate that guy.
