Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

CSI theme song good, stolen.

I'm 37 years old. How can I still find more places to make sore?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

(I meant theme song as in "Gosh, his comedy routine about his severely dysfunctional family is hitting just a leeeeetle bit too close to home." Not literally a *song.*)

Some of the Dysfunctional Families' Greatest Hits that Titus has pulled out that I know ALL the words to are as follows:

"When it comes to drinking and driving, my father's Obi-Wan Kenobi."

"For 30 years, my dad had beer IN the car, sometimes on tap!"

"We don't have home movies in my family; it's People's Exhibit A."

"My dad's from that era when you lived to 50, your heart exploded and that was that. You know when you cook bacon and you pour the grease into the can? My dad's the can!"

"My dad's third heart attack, he'd gotten so good at them, he decided to drive himself to the hospital because 'They won't let me smoke in the ambulance!' and 'You can't make a burger run.' "

"There's one in every family. When the police calls in the middle of the night and says, 'We've got a family member of yours under arrest,' and you know exactly who it is. In my family we have seven of those... And they are all my *Mom*!"

Yep, that sounds like what I've heard of your dad.

I can't think of any show/movie that could do that for my family...but now I'm going to want to.

Okay, watching CSI. Why can't these vaunted experts spot simple damned masks & makeup job? Oy.

I don't have bananas or blueberries for breakfast tomorrow. And I need to be here at 8am for the cable guy. How early can I really run out?

Because, ita, on TV, crappy masks are always convincing, if they're made out of latex.

Also (cereal)?

CSI is really letting me down this year. What I've caught of the season so far seems like a very different show than the one I've been watching since half-way through the first season.

Always Anti-fascist!

Ah, Tep found "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding" Which I still really liked, though my family is a*little* less fucked-up than that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Was CSI new this week? I am very behind, but find myself not really caring.

Yeah, it was a big thing with Rodger Daltry guest starring.

Oh. I missed that. Maybe I will watch a couple tomorrow.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Malcolm in the Middle reminds me of my kidhood sometimes. The episode where the Mom made them all stand on their heads until one of them confessed put me back in those days when we would get locked in a room indefinitely if an extra dessert had gone missing.

Anyone still awake and working on Funny Farm?

Or awake at all and want to chat?
