We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Megan, for the word that connects to M*A*S*H, it's the specific place where the series was located.

What is even happening?

Don't feel you're alone in Dessert Disaster '07, Cindy. My mom destroyed 2 pumpkin pies (one homemade, one store-bought) that she was making for the family Thanksgiving, and my créme de menthe brownies ended up like pumice covered with mint pudding.

Oh Matt, how'd your poor mom destroy a store-bought? What happened with your brownies?

Dessert Disaster '07, though ... I ... Did you go see the Glitter Twins? Is this a prophecy? Is this our fate? Are all our desserts doomed???

Heh.

Aurelia, I just looked at the pertussis article in Wikipedia. Most adults get a milder version because of lingering immunity. However, if you get diagnosed early via blood test in the initial stages (pre-coughing) you can avoid most of the awfulness. So it's probably a good deal for you to talk to a health-care provider if you've been around the little germ factorieskids in New Trier.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hey! I actually got a seat on my subway ride to work this morning. I feel so lucky!

It's almost as if everyone else were staying home today.

Are these two facts related?

::tries to figure out where in Mexico it's 10:30 AM right now::

It's possible that I need more caffeine.

Are these two facts related?

Yes - only in that it is too early for lunch.

Also, is there any good Mexican food in Halifax? If there is, I haven't found it.

The only place I've heard good things about is Mexico Lindo, and you were soso on it, right?

There are people who make good tamales and tacos at the farmer's market.
