Swouncing

Skipping (sigh) and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is DXMachina's birthday.

Happy birthday. DXM! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hi Nilly! You should check out the last 150 or so posts in Bitches - people are reminiscing about meeting for the first time....

OK, here's a good place to start: Erin "Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else" Nov 18, 2006 8:41:37 am PST

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday DX!

It wasn't the Argentinian place, was it?

No, it was someplace on the pier--I think there are two restaurants on it. If so, it was the farther one.

Hey, you still doing the funny farm thing?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ugh -- second day in a row I've woken up with a headache. I suppose I should be grateful it's on a weekend day rather than one where I have to drag my aching head into work, but still.

::throws drugs at the headache::

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Of course, he was also traumatized by the blower, so haircuts for him were dramafilled, to say the least.

Huh. I just realized one of my fonder childhood memories was sitting under Mom's old turquoise beauty shop-style hair dryer and listening to the noise while reading comics. For some reason it was a very warm, safe feeling for me.

Although, now that downtown Boston has changed so much with the new tunnel, I find myself scared to drive there as well.

You're only now becoming scared to drive in Boston, having done so before?!?

In other news, salmon, Roaring 40s cheese, kalmata olives, and an Asian pear for breakfast are great. An overripe avocado, not so much.
