"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Of course, he was also traumatized by the blower, so haircuts for him were dramafilled, to say the least.

Huh. I just realized one of my fonder childhood memories was sitting under Mom's old turquoise beauty shop-style hair dryer and listening to the noise while reading comics. For some reason it was a very warm, safe feeling for me.

Although, now that downtown Boston has changed so much with the new tunnel, I find myself scared to drive there as well.

You're only now becoming scared to drive in Boston, having done so before?!?

In other news, salmon, Roaring 40s cheese, kalmata olives, and an Asian pear for breakfast are great. An overripe avocado, not so much.

Did this become the T'day planning thread?

Seems so.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, DX!!

No, it was someplace on the pier--I think there are two restaurants on it. If so, it was the farther one.

OK, good. I'd hate to think I ate there unwittingly!

Hey, you still doing the funny farm thing?

I...could be.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For some reason it was a very warm, safe feeling for me.

White noise and warm air. What's not to like?

Happy birthday, DXM!

Do either of you have all of the boxes filled in on the comic books cube ? Specifically the top left and middle left boxes. I've finally given up trying to figure them out on my own.

I haven't even gotten to that box, sadly. Oh, unless it's the one where I have one edge word, and maybe it is.
