Benn Ray was on my radio again, making me laugh (this will probably only matter to Kat and lisah.) He's an awesome talker, by which I mean he can hold forth quite eloquently.

How much do people pay for a box of checks? I always go through the bank, and it always seems ridiculous, but since I tend to wait until I'm down to my last 20 checks, I don't bother researching.

Hmm. I get free checks with my account? But I never ever use them these days--like, one to pay my rent each month, adn I use online banking for anything else. So....I haven't done it since I moved over three years ago?
sara - I usually by my checks through [link] or [link] I've always heard that bank checks are more expensive, but I've never checked.
It's so messy, sarameg, you can't get to the bed. I'll put my clothes away (a favorite chore) and figure out the shoe thing (the next favorite chore) and then we'll work from there.
I'm not especially worried, just a little abashed.
