Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Santa Barbara! I've never been, but Bob is applying to UCSB. Is it nice?
P and her DH went to school there. Love it there. Very expensive to live once you are out of starving student mode but damn, just one of the places I would live in a heartbeat if given the chance.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Is it nice?

It's very pretty. It's the basis for Sunnydale. (I think.) Except it's got more ocean and more mountain.

I ated too much pasta and hot chocolate and milk and bread at breakfast.

That has me feeling queasy!

So my laundry room is swarming with plumbers so I (horrors!) have to go to the next building over and use their laundry room. Other people's basements are creepier than mine. But then, I think all basements are creepy.

Ben Ray was on my radio again, making me laugh (this will probably only matter to Kat and lisah.) He's an awesome talker, by which I mean he can hold forth quite eloquently. We now have parking meters downtown that service no parking spaces but a quarter can move the hand from Despair to Hope for about 5 seconds. Despair is the default.

Must sit around, waiting on laundry, Can't really start anything until that is done.

hip deep in pie

He looked kind of hipster-ish, so not Alan Ball or Marc Cherry, but maybe someone along those lines? Any ideas?

The one that comes to come to mind is the guy who did the OC.

I ated too much pasta and hot chocolate and milk and bread at breakfast.

My Chicken Taco and Coffee breakfast has not sit well with me.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I got up early and fixed my dvd player (I took it apart and there was a disk stuck all the way in), and picked up packages at the post office, and then went to the Mountain Hardware Factory Sale, at which I bumped into half a dozen people I knew and spent $350 on a new jacket, climbing tights, running top, ski pants, a new tent, and a bunch of gifts. And now I am home having eaten some take-out California roll and my back aches from standing in line at the sale for 90 minutes. Or more. More, actually.

Oh, and I got a great new pair of pants at Title 9.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

On S60, I might like it better if I could forget the meta, but, well, it's all but shouting. And, yeah, it's not like she's the public face of the President...I mean network.

Numb3rs, I'm not sure if I'm more annoyed that they decided to raise the idea of there being a problem with Charlie working for the FBI or that they completely discarded it within the same episode.

Always Anti-fascist!

Actually I liked the last two S60's muchly, but that really didn't seem Of The Accurate. Because I'm a TV geek who wanted to grow up to be Steven Bochco, and therefore AS worst nightmare in crafting this project.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I kind of want 'suela's day instead of the one I'm currently having.

Benn Ray was on my radio again, making me laugh (this will probably only matter to Kat and lisah.) He's an awesome talker, by which I mean he can hold forth quite eloquently.

He is an awesome talker. Very funny man. But I notoriously, to quote Ani DiFranco, have a thing for assholes who tell good stories.

Hi Kat! Do I need to give you a call and if so, is your number the same?

How much do people pay for a box of checks? I always go through the bank, and it always seems ridiculous, but since I tend to wait until I'm down to my last 20 checks, I don't bother researching.

Off to the scary other basement.

What is even happening?

That's not the way out.
